Lanka office buoyant with sizeable wins in first year

Since the launch of its Sri Lanka office in May 2014, Adfactors PR has built up a sizeable business in the island nation.

Among its financial services clients are Amana Global Investment Bank and Asian Alliance Insurance, while key clients from the FMCG sector include two major household brands – Dettol and Mortein – from Reckitt Benckiser. The consultancy recently facilitated the partnership among Reckitt Benckiser, Ministry of Health and the National Dengue Control Unit to launch a campaign – ‘Unite Against Dengue’.

Health care is another focus area of the firm. Two principal clients include Asiri Group of Hospitals and Hemas Hospitals. Other important clients include Sunshine Holdings Plc. and the Planter’s Association of Ceylon. On behalf of the latter, the consultancy recently intervened through an advocacy and public affairs programme to facilitate a win-win situation for both the plantation companies and the tea estate employees on wage discussions.

Rezani Aziz, CEO, Adfactors Public Relations Lanka, said, “The last 12 months have been extremely exciting for us. Not only do we have quite a few respectable names in our client roster now, but – thanks to innovative service offerings – we have also created a positive buzz and anticipation in the market. We expect to sign up quite a few significant businesses in the near future as the Sri Lankan economy is on an upswing.”
