In the last few years, India has witnessed a huge increase in the presence and popularity of live sporting events. As they become more accessible and more ‘mass’ in their appeal, each event faces greater organizational and PR needs.
In 2007, Adfactors PR recognized this opportunity to diversify and launched its Sports Practice. The team’s first major assignment was to manage the vast and diverse communication challenges of India’s first global professional cricketing league.
Adfactors PR helped create a distinct global brand identity, manage media relations and venue management to transform the league into a USD Four billion enterprise. We also handled global media accreditations and match-day logistics, including unexpected venue changes.
We have worked with global cricketing leagues of India, Australia and South Africa.
Adfactors PR believes India’s exposure to sports must (and will) move beyond cricket.
Our current portfolio includes a leading English Premier League club, a major world premier soccer league, the under-19 International World Volleyball Championships and the Badminton World Championship in 2010.
Today, we are propagating the grass-root programs of a world famous basketball league in India and also manage the recently launched franchisee driven professional hockey league.
Each project helps us emerge as a leading sports PR practice, but more importantly, brings us a step closer to building a healthy sporting culture in India.
